When you are visiting a new site on the Galapagos, snapping a quick shot of the sign will save you a lot of confusion once you get home. Many of the beaches look similar, as do the paths and open areas. It can be hard to remember which island and which trail you were on. poison-apples-sign

Take a minute, shoot the informational signs and it’ll bring it all back once you get home. This is even more important if your are going to blog or write about your travels. You’ll get contextual information – and the correct spelling of areas. For example, a place with an unusual name like: Garrapatero Beach might be impossible to guess the spelling once you return, but a quick shot of the entrance sign, and you’ll have it. In the Galapagos, there are many informational signs about the landscape, plants and animals.

Other signs, such as the tour pricing above will remind you not only of the costs, but also about things you might want to do on a return trip.

While traveling, we often plan on remembering certain pieces of info, but because of the overload of travel we usually forget. Use your camera to remember data for you – and you can focus on absorbing all the sights and sounds of the Galapagos Islands.
