Weekly Photo – A Nazca Booby Hitches a Ride on a Sea Turtle
This weeks photo comes to us via Bolivar, one of our tour leaders. While traveling between islands Bolivar and his group noticed something bizarre on the water. It was clearly an animal – and it was moving – but they couldn’t tell what it was. As they got closer they saw this: a tired out nazca booby hitching a ride on a passing sea turtle. The booby rode without shame, even as the boat passed, it didn’t even flinch. Bolivar was able to snap this shot with his cell phone camera.
