Before we visited the Galapagos, I never even thought about sea turtles. I had giant tortoises on the mind and until we were heading across the bay on Isabela Island to go snorkeling I didn’t realize that they were even there. While traveling across the water, we saw sea turtles feeding on some vegetation growing on a barge.
This photo was taken on a recent dive with guests. It’s pretty cool to see the differences between these sea faring turtles and their very slow land based counterparts.
