Weekly Photo – Diving with Galapagos Sea Turtles

This weeks photo was taken on a recent diving expedition. The photo is pretty self-explanatory – these divers were fortunate enough to swim with a Galapagos Sea Turtle – and then to get this great shot. Its an amazing experience to swim with sea turtles.

Galapagos Sea Turtles are commonly spotted on snorkeling excursions and even from the boats. We got to snorkel with one on Isabela Island – he was completely unconcerned about the snorkeling group – he was too busy eating plant-life growing on a barge in the harbor. In fact, we even saw one when we arrived from Floreana Island by boat.
