One of the great things about land based tours is being surrounded by wildlife all the time.

We really loved seeing the marine iguanas on the dining deck at the Red Mangrove Aventura Lodge on Santa Cruz Island. While they didn’t have any fear of us, they certainly weren’t very interested either. They just did their thing – bask in the sun and snort salt between feeding at sea.

You guys are so lucky to be there and enjoying life to the fullest extent. How can I go to Ecuador from USA and what is the cheapest airfare from JFK or Newark Liberty International airport? I am a senior and have very limited budget to get around. Any tips to stretch dollars to the maximum? Thank you for your input. Have a great one.
