Weekly Photo – The Brilliant Sally Lightfoot Crabs

One of the things I love about the Sally Lightfoot Crab, is their color. Especially on sunny days, the red is brilliant. And top of that, they can walk on water. We had read about it – and on our last trip to Santa Cruz, Drew and I saw one run across the top of the water at the Red Mangrove Aventura Lodge. He must have covered close to 3 meters before reaching the post of the deck and climbing up.
