Imagine starting the day with a view like this! This is Academy Bay located in Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island.
The photo is taken from the deck Red Mangrove’s Aventura Lodge. You’ll see wildlife from this deck everyday. If you look closely, you can see a lava heron on the boat to the furthest right. On the same morning as we took this photo, we also saw 3 sea lions (or were they seals?), blue footed boobies, pelicans and numerous sally lightfoot crabs.
You can even enjoy breakfast with this view during your stay.
