Visiting the Galapagos Islands on a land based tour is gaining popularity every year. And one of the best ways is on an island hopping tour.
When we first visited the Galapagos, we went on a three island hopping tour – on a package called Darwin’s Triangle Tour Long, a 6 day / 5 night trip. A 5 day / 4 night Darwin’s Triangle Tour Short is also available.
We landed on Baltra Island, took a short boat taxi to Santa Cruz Island. From there, we traveled to Floreana Island then to Isabela Island and back to Santa Cruz Island – completing the travel triangle.
