Hyperbaric Chamber

7-CAMARA HIPERBARICA 2When you go SCUBA diving, especially surrounded by sharks, brilliantly colored fish and playful sea lions, safety might be the last thing on your mind. But in the worst case scenario, it is nice to know that your dive operator is prepared in the event of a diving accident. I took my SCUBA course at the Red Mangrove Dive Center, and was very reassured to meet their on-staff doctor, the friendly Dr. Carola Amoroso. She told me about life in the Galapagos in perfect English, and showed the on-site new hyperbaric chamber.
