What Type of Fishing is Allowed in the Galapagos?
In particular, in regards to seafood, what most guests have mentioned is the best they have tried is the Tuna Fish, the Bacalao (Cod) and also the Wahoo.
Some fisherman have permission to fish these kind of species in the ocean. And so they do get it from the islands, yep.
In the case of fishing in Galapagos, industrial fishing is not allowed – just artisanal like more traditional fishing. And for the fisherman who are locals it is authorized.
