I would like to walk the whole long length of Isabela. Is that feasible?

    • Bryan Haines March 26, 2012, 2:48 PM

It’s a good question Anne. Unfortunately, it is not possible. Keep in mind that Galpagos is 97% a national park and only 3 % urban and agricultural land, Galapagos is proud to have good actions to preserve the islands very few visitor sites are open to the public for visits always with a Natualist guide of national park.

What’s the weather like in mid May? Are the nights very cool? And what is the water temps at that time of year?

    • Bryan Haines March 26, 2012, 2:47 PM

May is the month that I like the most, still warm with cooler nights. The water still warm and ocean calm.

Do you offer 2 island packages?  4 nights Santa Cruz and 3 nights Isabela.

    • Bryan Haines March 26, 2012, 2:46 PM

Thanks Linda, We don’t offer 2 island package we do not want you to miss Floreana Island – it really is amazing.

My friend and I are going to Galapagos end of August.  I have two questions.  It seems like the water might be cold (70 degrees F).  Should we use wetsuits when we snorkel?  Also, I’m wondering if I should get recertified to scuba before going.  Or, will I see just about as much snorkeling?
